Identity Crisis:

Lisa Hinerman – Lead Vocals & Latin Percussion
1989-2001 Lisa wrote original music for bands, with bands & with individuals all over Chicagoland, as well as doing fill in lead vocal work for festival bands, recording studio work, writing harmonies and recording with local artists, etc. She is still writing originals on the side today.
During that time, she was involved with Talismen, Media, Bow Echo, State & Lake, Soul Power, and ended up with originals being played on Chicago radio, as well as being a co-host on a local cable access show called Music Beat, which featured local bands like Holland, 7th Heaven & great guitarists like Micheal Angello.
In 2006, she met guitarist, Eric Potesta & embarked on this great cover band journey called Identity Crisis. The rest, is history.

Eric Potesta – Lead Guitar, Keys, Synth & Background Vocals
In 1983, Eric made it onto the Chicagoland music scene & on stage with Crimson Edge. He continued to play on stages all over this area with bands like Chops, The Tim Goran Band, Fast Action & Ruckus.
In 2006, he met singer, songwriter, Lisa Hinerman while fumbling around with an acoustic guitar while he was at work & together they embarked upon a new musical journey with no musical limits! This… is Identity Crisis.

Corey O’Donnell – Trumpet & Backing Vocals
Corey was a music major in college, who became a band teacher! He likes to spend time making cameo appearances with other local bands, like Elevation, The Tin Fiddle Band & many more… just for fun on the side.
He brings us some great trumpet playing & harmonies that have given our band a great new twist!
Stacy Cummings – Bass
In 1979, Stacy began playing on stage with local Chicagoland bands. He mastered his bass, electric guitar & mandolin, and continued his spread across the land. He has played all genres of music & played with these bands as time has gone on: False Arrest, Bad Attitude, The Southern Echoes, Rat Salad, Bronze Halo, Scrambled Ant, Phat Phucker, Early Lemont Metal Band, The Green Light Goes, Heritage, West 34, Gringo Star, Garage Band, Friends & Haggis. He also played with Espionage in Florida.
In 1996, he joined up with Ted Aliotta from Aliotta, Jerimiah & Hanes (Hit song “Lake Shore Drive” in the 70s) & continues to play with Ted Aliotta & The Groove Machine today.
In recent years, he has played with the Johnny Amatto Band, Girl’s Night Out & D-Rox. One thing you should never do to this man… NEVER try to take his music away!

Chris Miller – Guitar, Acoustic, Keys, Vocals & Backing Vocals
Chris is the Head Vocal Director at Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Wheaton, IL where he directs the Men’s Chorale, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and the Classics Show Choir. He also teaches Music Keyboarding and Rock and Roll History. In 2013, Chris was nominated for the Grammy Music Educator Award and was selected as one of 217 quarter finalists from a field of over 30,000 nominees. In 2011, Mr. Miller was selected as the National FAME Aspire “Best New Director” Award. He is active as an adjudicator for regional and national show choir festivals and has conducted regional choral festivals. One of the highlights of his career was performing alongside Bob Schieffer (CBS Face the Nation) and premiering some original compositions written by the famous journalist in 2006. Mr. Miller has opened or performed with the likes of Filter, Fastball, Kenny Rogers, Williams and Ree, Warrant, Danny Hein and the Fabulous Flippers, Black Oak Arkansas, Head East, The Little River Band, George Clinton and the P-Funk All- Stars, Mitch Ryder, Bobby Vinton, The Buckinghams, Big and Rich, Joan Jett and Rick Springfield.

Rudy Sanchez – Drums & Percussion
Playing drums in Mexico City on Television Shows like, “Desmadrugados” for the last 10 years… which is the Mexican version of “The Tonight Show”, as well as “El Show de Los Sueños”, which is the Mexican version of “Dancing With The Stars”, Rudy really made his mark! He has too many great playing opportunities to even mention!
He managed to make “Zildian Magazine’s” 50 Best Drummers in the World list! We are extremely lucky to have this top notch drummer playing with us! His joy flows right into the music as he plays! Be prepared! He will have you on your feet on that dance floor all night long!
