BBE’s Urban Groove Experience:
The Urban Groove Experience (“UGE”) came together as a studio band for B.B.E. Records in 2003. Based out of Aurora, IL, the band consists of lead guitar (Larry Stigler), bass (Anthony Foster of Roads Traveled), rhythm guitar (Dan Becker of the Tourist), guitar\effects (Dave Ruffalo of Roads Traveled) and drums (Patrick Lovelace).
Urban Groove features a variety of lead vocalist depending on the occasion. Primary vocalists are Paulette “Ms. Passion” Stinson (of Ear Candy/Passionate Ent.), and Deborah “Diva” Words. The band has been as large as twelve performers, including a full rhythm section and background singers.
Although, “UGE” is well known for their improvisational skills, R & B, Funk, Neo-Soul, and Blues have been the primary focus of the band. Urban Groove has performed in a variety of venues including:

The Urban Groove Experience has worked on various projects with other artists as well as recording the follow up album to their first independent release “R U Experienced” 2007. When not in the studio, “UGE” serves as the house band for Ear Candy Entertainment’s Open Mic Poetry Set every 4th Saturday of each month at The Spoken Word Lounge 1200 W 35th at the Broadview Cultural Arts Center Chgo Il.
